Congo - scénario 2 , King of the Apes

    Here is my first Congo game. I played scenario 2 King of the Apes. An explorer spotted a giant gorilla in the forest, an expedition is mounted by a journalist to confirm the existence of the animal. But a tribe worships the great ape Kong and protects its lair ... 

 

I played with forest  tribe,and  my opponentwith  the white men expedition.

 

    Kong is deployed near his tree (his lair) and he does not leave his area around the tree  (distance M from the tree), the journalist's expedition must capture Kong (meaning defeating him in melee), but if the latter succumbs to gunfire, it is a forest tribe victory.

The cannibals and the witchdoctor try to intercept the journalist and her guards:

Under the eye of his divinity, the chief exterminates the reckless explorer who dared to violate the sacred territory:

The journalist get a scoop with the vision of the giant gorilla and approaches Kong,  pursued by the shaman and the cannibals starved by this exotic white game:

The witchdoctor tries to summon the spirits of the forest but they do not appreciate it and he dies struck by lightning

 

Kong must flee from the journalist, a small weakness during its fight (see the dice score):

The chief arrives to the rescue to eliminate the reckless journalist:

The slackers of the game, the adventurers have spent too much time watching the handsome soldiers by their side :

 

 

 

The game ends in the last turn, without any of the conditions for immediate victory being met. When counting the points, the forest tribe wins:
