Congo - Manganis for Tarzan column

I would like to make a Tarzan-based column, here's Great Apes, or Manganis (an imaginary species of ape created by Burroughs, who saved and  raised baby Tarzan) by  Obelisk Miniatures.

Congo - Escalation Along The Nziari (scenario 4)

In this new adventure, 2 columns fight for the control of their border crossing the Nziari river. The river crosses the table lengthwise in its middle, there are 3 objects (I replaced the flags of the scenario with gold nuggets!) to retrieve in the river and them to exit with them by the opposite side by 3 exits. Problem, the river is infested with crocodiles.

A white men expedition seeks to push back the border against a forest tribe.

The deployment of white men expedition:

trained askaris with bearer and adventurers

Askaris

Archers, soldiers and explorer with bearer, trained askaris with bearer

The forest tribe (which I play)

Warriors and chief, hunters

Pygmy archers and warriors

Pygmy archers, scouts, cannibals and witchdoctor  (an error of myself, it is not possible to attach a character to cannibals) .

I start with the tribe, by races to collect 2 objects from turn 1, however the crocodiles take advantage from the passage of the river (and they will fight my tribe throughout the game, the forest spirits were against me):

The wizard accompanied by cannibals rushes towards the exit with his object, but the auxiliaries watch and will keep him and his group stuck in the high fangerous terrain the whole game.

The chief and his warriors take the second object but the crocs come to take their transit tax

The chief tries a forced passage but the trained askaries hold firm: :

At the other end of the table same thing with the cannibals, the journalist holds her scoop, she attends some failed rituals of the sorcerer:

Finally he prefers to settle in the shade of trees:

The pygmies try to intercept the archers who come to take the last object, but these damn crocodiles still intervene and they must evacuate the river (after making an ecological sacrifice):

The chief tries to bypass the trained askaris but my adventurers watch and block the exit

The wichdoctor decides to try a big ritual to unblock the situation, but the magic is too strong, he dies struck by lightning:

The pygmies progress across the river, but the crocs are still alert:

The chief feels very lonely in the face of the heavy fire of the adventurers, all his warroirs are dead:

The Pygmy warriors intercept the archers who tried to pass discreetly with their object::

Easy shot for the adventurers, the londely tribal chief is killed, and the scouts recover the item:

The last cannibal still resists well hidden::

It's becoming difficult for the tribe. The white men scouts try to cross the river, and for once the crocodiles are playing in my camp:

The game ends, neither side was able to take out the objects, but when counting the points I lost (19-5), The journalist managed a superb report, giving 4 victory points to his side (magic - which failed - fierce fights, heroic shootings and ferocious crocodiles who must have fasted 6 months before this fatal day, that makes a good paper)
